Anaheim Man Comes Home Early From Work and Fatally Stabs Man Found in Bed With His Wife

A fatal stabbing took place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Anaheim, Orange County, California: Ismael Pinedalopez, 34, came home early from work and found 28-year-old Nicolas Garcia of Whittier in bed with his wife in the couple's bedroom, and allegedly stabbed Garcia to death with a pocketknife. Garcia was in his underwear in the bed, where Pinedalopez's wife and the couple's two young children also were; the wife and children were not hurt.
According to information released by the Orange County District Attorney's Office and the Anaheim Police Department, officers responded on October 24 to a report of a stabbing at a home in the 700 block of N. Pine Street. They found a bloodied Pinedalopez inside the residence and discovered Garcia's body, bearing multiple stab wounds, in the bedroom Pinedalopez shared with his wife. Pinedalopez's two children — a 2-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son — and his wife were unharmed. Pinedalopez was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
The account above reflects allegations released by police and prosecutors; Pinedalopez is presumed innocent unless convicted in court. GSM will cover further court proceedings in follow-up reports.
