Eco Expo Asia 2026 Opens in Hong Kong: 24 HKSTP Green-Tech Companies Showcase 350 kW Chargers and Sodium Batteries

The 21st Eco Expo Asia is being held from October 26 to 29 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) said on October 27 that it is leading 24 of its green-tech partner companies at the fair, presenting Hong Kong's green technology ecosystem — powered largely by Chinese research and startup teams — to global buyers.

HKSTP said its green-tech ecosystem now spans more than 250 companies. Eleven firms are exhibiting in the Science Park pavilion (booth 3-E02), nine of them for the first time. Founded in 2001, HKSTP's ecosystem includes over 2,500 technology companies, 17,000 research professionals and 14 unicorns.

Among the exhibits, TriTerra is showing a wall-mounted DC supercharger just 16 centimetres thick delivering 350 kW per connector, already deployed at a Tung Chung hotel, plus a liquid-cooled system sustaining 3,000 kW per connector for heavy vehicles such as container trucks, certified by CVC. Refined Motor converted a 1990 Rover Mini into a road-legal electric car; its modular system holds EU R100 battery safety and electromagnetic compatibility certification and can be registered in more than 50 countries.

CNAE is displaying sodium-battery high-speed e-bikes and its S95 automotive start-stop battery (12V, 30Ah, charging to 80 percent in 10 minutes and usable at minus 20 degrees Celsius), while another exhibitor showed fully recyclable all-aluminium wind turbine blades that fit a standard 40-foot container, and Leyden Power presented its Navy Series mobile energy storage products.
