Macao "One Country, Two Systems" Exhibition Wraps Up Portugal Tour at Three Universities With Over 3,000 Visitors

The Macao "One Country, Two Systems" success exhibition closed its Portugal stop on October 22, the Government Information Bureau of Macao said in a wrap-up released on October 26. The show toured three universities in Leiria, Coimbra and the Algarve and drew more than 3,000 visitors in the first European stop of the Macao-themed exhibition.
Co-organized by the Macao Economic and Trade Office in Lisbon and the bureau, the exhibition ran from October 12 to 22 at the University of Leiria, the University of Coimbra and the University of Algarve. Lúcia Abrantes dos Santos, head of the Lisbon office, spoke at the opening.
The exhibition has six thematic sections and an official website in four languages, covering Macao's economic, social and cultural development since its return to China. For Chinese residents in Portugal, the campus tour offered a rare, structured window into Macao.
The organizers said the tour will continue to Spain, Belgium and Switzerland.
