York County Community Foundation in Pennsylvania Awards $293,700 to 22 Local Nonprofits

The York County Community Foundation (YCCF), based in York, York County, Pennsylvania, announced on October 27, 2026, that its second round of 2026 grants will invest $293,700 in 22 local nonprofits across York County, expanding education and career opportunities, strengthening residents' financial stability, and improving housing and health services.
Natalee Gunderson, YCCF's president and CEO, said strong communities are built when people have access to the resources, opportunities, and support they need to reach their full potential, and that through the generosity of its donors and the dedication of its nonprofit partners, the foundation is investing in solutions that address today's challenges while building a stronger future for York County. The grants also support older adults, protect farmland and waterways, and advance racial equity, with the goal of creating opportunities for people of all ages across the county.
Among the grants made through the Fund for York County, LifePath Christian Ministries received $50,000 for its Transforming Lives Expansion program. The funding supports a gradual expansion of shelter and meal capacity to meet demand and the creation of an on-site hub for increased social service supports at the property it acquired at 475 W. Philadelphia Street, aiming to create a long-term hub designed to serve the community for at least the next 75 years.
Logos Works Partners also received $50,000, for its Open Door Scholarship Fund. The funding supports a strategic three-year expansion intended to shift how education is funded by providing millions of dollars to families through Pennsylvania's education tax credit programs for students in Pre-K, K-12, and after-school programs.
