California Attorney General Bonta Shuts Down Illegal Gambling Operation in Solano County: Three Multi-Player Machines Seized, Three Arrested in Vallejo

California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced on October 27 that the California Department of Justice shut down an illegal gambling operation at a business in Vallejo, Solano County, on October 21, seizing three illegal multi-player gambling machines and arresting three individuals found at the location.
According to the Attorney General's Office, the Vallejo Police Department provided a tip in July that illegal gambling establishments were operating in the city. Investigators from the DOJ's Bureau of Gambling Control reviewed the information, took the lead on the investigation and prepared the search warrant, which was served by the Vallejo Police Department's SWAT team. All charges will be filed with the Solano County District Attorney's Office.
Bonta said the operation shows that illegal gambling and criminal activity of any sort will not be tolerated in California, and that all gaming must be conducted legally and transparently, with no exceptions.
The Attorney General's Office noted that the charges are only allegations, and that every defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
