Atlanta's Fox Theatre Welcomes Broadway Hit 'Buena Vista Social Club' in Fulton County, Georgia, for a One-Week Run Through November 1
The Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, is hosting the hit Broadway musical 'Buena Vista Social Club' for a one-week engagement ending November 1, as part of the 2026-2027 Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta season. The show was one of last year's most honored Broadway musicals, with 10 Tony Award nominations, four competitive wins and one special award. The story tells how the real-life Cuban musicians came together for the hit 1997 album of the same name, which was later made into an Academy Award-nominated documentary, and the production features vibrant renditions of the group's Grammy-winning music. In the touring cast, Broadway performer Karmine Alers plays Omara Portuondo, Mauro Castillo plays Ibrahim Ferrer, and Isabel Gonzales plays the young Omara. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Atlanta audiences can check the theatre's official channels for details and tickets and experience this Broadway production about the Cuban music legend in person.
