Alphabet Q3 Revenue Rises 25% to About $128 Billion as Google Cloud Surges 103% and the Gemini App Reaches One Billion Users

Alphabet, Google's parent company, reported its third-quarter 2026 results on October 28. CEO Sundar Pichai said on the earnings call that Alphabet's revenue grew 25% year over year to about $128 billion, putting the company at a half-trillion-dollar annual revenue run rate.
By segment, Search and other advertising revenue grew 12%, with Pichai saying year-over-year query growth was the highest in five years. Google Cloud revenue surged 103%, driven mainly by demand for super intelligence (SI) infrastructure and solutions; the company is working to bring more capacity online and expects continued strong demand for its TPU systems.
On usage, Google's first-party model APIs now process nearly 32 billion tokens per minute, up 40% from last quarter and more than four times the level of a year ago. The Gemini app has reached one billion users, which Pichai called the fastest-growing product in Google's history, and YouTube Music and Premium surpassed 150 million subscribers globally, including trials.
Among its long-term bets, Waymo has now driven more than 300 million fully autonomous miles and operates in 15 major U.S. cities, recently opening service to the public in San Antonio, San Diego, and Tampa, with expansions planned into Canada, Germany, Singapore, and Spain. Pichai also noted that Google had announced its Genie 4 world model the previous day, demonstrated magic state cultivation in quantum computing for the first time during the quarter, and launched TPUs into space with Project Suncatcher.
