Update: Rancho Palos Verdes Sewer Work Continues: Traffic Control on Oceanside Lanes of Palos Verdes Drive South, October 29–30

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes, in Los Angeles County, California, has issued a traffic alert: the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (LACSD) sewer repair work along Palos Verdes Drive South continues on October 29 and 30, with traffic control in place on segments of the oceanside lanes. Drivers should expect delays.
The traffic control runs from about 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, and Friday, October 30, with flaggers directing traffic through the work zone. GSM previously reported that the project brought segment-by-segment traffic control to the stretch between Trump National Drive and Yacht Harbor Drive from October 23 to 28; this round follows on from that work.
The sewer lines in this area have been damaged by continuing ground movement in the Portuguese Bend Landslide Complex, and LACSD is carrying out long-term repairs along Palos Verdes Drive South to protect wastewater service and public health for residents along the route.
The city advises drivers to consider alternate routes. Those who must pass through the work zone should slow down, watch for workers, and follow the directions of traffic controllers on site.
