The City of Temple City, in Los Angeles County, California, announced it is preparing to temporarily relocate City Hall counter operations next door to the Civic Center, at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, starting Friday, November 13, to accommodate upcoming facility improvements.

The City said the City Hall Building will be closed to the public while improvements are made toward meeting ADA accessibility standards, addressing safety concerns and improving the overall experience. About 7,000 people visit City Hall each year to access services and conduct business in person. Public counter services, including parking, building, planning and licensing, will close on Thursday, November 12 and resume at the Civic Center on Friday, November 13.

Construction is anticipated to be completed by Spring 2027, and the City said additional updates will be shared as preparations progress, while it continues to expand its online services.
