Irvine, California: Illuminate Irvine Lights the Holiday Tree at the Great Park on December 5, Kicking Off Holidayz Season Through January 3
The City of Irvine in Orange County, California, has published its holiday season schedule: Illuminate Irvine, the city's tree-lighting celebration, will be held on Saturday, December 5, at the Great Park Palm Court Arts Complex, lighting the Holiday Tree and the Palm Court display of thousands of lights as the festivities begin at 3 p.m. The event is free.
The city said the evening will feature holiday photo opportunities, caroling and family activities. After the lighting, the Holidayz at the Park display will run from December 5 through January 3, 2027, with the Palm Court lights on daily from dusk to 9 p.m.
A Holidayz Pop-Up with seasonal photo backdrops will also operate at the Artist Studios next to the Palm Court, with dates to be confirmed on the city's holiday schedule. The city advises visitors to check its website before going, as program times can change.
The Great Park is at 8000 Great Park Blvd. in Irvine, and Lots 2 and 3 are the most convenient parking for the Palm Court.
