Altria Group, Inc. (NYSE: MO), headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, on October 29 reported its 2026 third-quarter and nine-month results and raised its guidance for full-year adjusted diluted earnings per share.

Third-quarter net revenues increased 1.0% to $6.132 billion, driven primarily by higher net revenues in the smokeable products segment, while revenues net of excise taxes rose 3.6% to $5.441 billion. Reported diluted EPS increased 7.1% to $1.51 and adjusted diluted EPS increased 4.8% to $1.52. Net revenues for the first nine months rose 1.4% to $17.671 billion.

On shareholder returns, the board recently authorized a $1 billion expansion of the existing share repurchase program, which now expires on December 31, 2027. Altria repurchased 5.9 million shares in the third quarter at an average price of $68.52, for a total cost of $400 million, and paid dividends of $1.7 billion in the quarter and $5.3 billion in the first nine months. In August the board raised the regular quarterly dividend for the 61st time in 57 years, to an annualized rate of $4.44 per share.

Chief Executive Officer Sal Mancuso said Altria delivered strong third-quarter financial performance, growing adjusted diluted EPS by 4.8% while continuing to invest in its vision, and that strong results through the first nine months gave the company confidence to raise full-year guidance.

Altria now expects 2026 full-year adjusted diluted EPS of $5.66 to $5.74, growth of 4.5% to 6.0% from a 2025 base of $5.42. In its smoke-free portfolio, Helix recently expanded the on! PLUS nicotine pouch line nationwide with Blueberry Mint and Mango Pineapple flavors.
