Euronet Worldwide Third-Quarter Revenue Rises 1% to $1.16 Billion as Net Income Falls to $113.6 Million and Outlook Is Cut

Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq: EEFT), a global leader in payment processing and cross-border transactions, reported third-quarter 2026 results on October 27 in Leawood, Kansas. Revenue was $1,161.1 million, a 1% increase from $1,145.7 million a year earlier, or 3% on a constant-currency basis. Net income attributable to Euronet was $113.6 million, or $2.53 diluted earnings per share, compared with $122.0 million, or $2.75, a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share were $3.55, down 2%.
By segment, Payments Infrastructure revenue rose 7% to $437.9 million, helped by the fourth-quarter 2025 acquisition of CoreCard, merchant acquiring and Ren sales; the company had 59,688 installed ATMs at September 30, up 4% year over year. The epay segment grew revenue 3% to $294.7 million on 1,191 million transactions.
Cross-Border Payments was under pressure: revenue fell 5% to $431.0 million and operating income dropped 37% to $37.3 million, although digital transactions in the segment rose 34% to 8.1 million. The company said U.S. immigration policy and global economic pressures on remittance corridors persisted longer than anticipated. Euronet repurchased $50 million of common stock in the quarter, and total indebtedness fell to $2,177.3 million at quarter-end.
The company revised its 2026 outlook to approximately $4.375 billion of revenue, approximately $725 million of adjusted EBITDA and adjusted earnings-per-share growth of approximately 10%, below the targets given at its May Investor Day.
Chairman and CEO Michael J. Brown said the third-quarter results reflect the continued impact of U.S. immigration policy and global economic pressures on the Cross-Border Payments segment, which persisted longer than anticipated, while the digital accelerators introduced at Investor Day grew 33% in the first nine months and represented 26% of year-to-date revenues.
