Oilfield technology and equipment company NOV Inc. (NYSE: NOV) on October 27 reported results for the third quarter of 2026: revenues of $2.23 billion, up 4 percent sequentially and up 2 percent from the third quarter of 2025. Net income rose $48 million year over year to $90 million, or $0.25 per diluted share.

Operating profit was $142 million, or 6.4 percent of sales, up 33 percent from a year earlier. Adjusted operating profit was $188 million, up 11 percent, and adjusted EBITDA was $281 million, up $23 million year over year, or 12.6 percent of sales. Third-quarter adjusted figures include a benefit of approximately $5 million related to tariff refunds.

Capital equipment bookings in the quarter were $577 million, representing a book-to-bill of 91 percent. Chairman, President and CEO Jose Bayardo said NOV delivered another strong quarter, with solid sequential and year-over-year revenue growth reflecting continued support for customers in the Middle East and ramping manufacturing throughput against a growing backlog of capital equipment orders in the Energy Products and Services segment, and that strong adjusted EBITDA flow-through, excluding tariff refund benefits, reflects disciplined execution and continued efficiency gains.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, NOV provides oilfield equipment, technologies and services to the global energy industry through its Energy Equipment and Energy Products and Services segments.
