MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada — North American transportation and logistics company TFI International Inc. (NYSE and TSX: TFII) on October 29 announced results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, with total revenue of $2,232.2 million, up 13% from a year earlier, and net income of $105.7 million, up 25%. All amounts are in U.S. dollars.

Operating income rose 17% to $180.0 million. Adjusted net income was $137.3 million, or $1.67 per diluted share, up 39% from a year earlier. Net cash from operating activities was $235.2 million and free cash flow was $116.4 million, bringing year-to-date free cash flow to $440 million. The Board of Directors approved a quarterly dividend of $0.47 per share, an increase of 4% over the prior-year period; the dividend was paid on October 15.

By segment, Truckload revenue rose 15% and operating income jumped 91%, nearly doubling, while Logistics revenue rose 22% with operating income up 59%. Less-Than-Truckload revenue rose 7%, but its operating income fell 43%, including a $14.4 million non-cash office building impairment charge.

Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Alain Bédard said the company again generated a sub-90 firmwide operating ratio, with Truckload performance particularly gratifying — double-digit top-line growth despite fewer trucks and operating income that nearly doubled — and pricing initiatives within LTL beginning to benefit results late in the quarter and into October.

For the outlook, the company expects fourth-quarter 2026 adjusted diluted EPS of $1.30 to $1.40, and full-year net capital expenditures excluding real estate of $225 million to $250 million. TFI will host a webcast on October 30 to discuss the results.
