Thursday, October 29, 2026 · California · GSM News

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department announced via Nixle on October 29 that its two-day "Operation No Tricks," conducted October 27-28 across the county, resulted in 30 arrests — 29 individuals for solicitation of prostitution and one individual for pandering — and the rescue of three human trafficking victims, who were provided services and resources.

The operation was overseen by Human Trafficking Investigators from the Sheriff's Gangs/Narcotics Division, together with the San Bernardino and Colton police departments, the California Highway Patrol, the San Bernardino County Probation Department, California Department of Corrections parole agents, the FBI, and local victim advocacy partners.

The department said the operation focused on rescuing victims of sexual slavery, arresting their captors, and disrupting demand. Anyone wishing to report human trafficking activity to the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force can call (909) 387-8400; the National Human Trafficking Resource Center Hotline is (888) 373-7888, and anonymous tips can be called or texted to We-Tip at 844-909-3006.
