CPSC Recalls About 25,762 PILLANI Nursing Pillows: Pillows Can Obstruct Infant Breathing and Pose Suffocation Risk, Full Refunds Offered

Thursday, October 29, 2026 · Life · GSM News

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced on October 29 the recall of about 25,762 PILLANI nursing pillows. The pillows violate the mandatory safety standards for nursing pillows because they can obstruct an infant's breathing, posing a serious risk of injury or death from suffocation. Consumers should stop using the pillows immediately and can obtain a full refund.

The recall involves PILLANI-branded U-shaped nursing pillows sold in the following colors and prints: cloud and stars, wild animal, white with leaf and feather, stars, pink with leaf, light blue, pink, light yellow, gray, light gray, beige and light green. The pillows have a smaller pillow attached atop and an adjustable waist strap. The brand name, model number NP4351 and batch numbers 202604, 202605 or 202606 are printed on an attached label, which consumers can check to identify the recalled product.

The pillows were imported and sold by G.M.H.L. LLP, doing business as PILLANI, of Houston, Texas, and were manufactured in China. They were sold online at Amazon.com from April 2026 through September 2026 for between $30 and $40.

According to CPSC, the recalled nursing pillows violate the mandatory standards for nursing pillows because they can obstruct an infant's breathing, posing a serious risk of injury or death from suffocation. No incidents or injuries had been reported as of the recall announcement.

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the nursing pillows immediately and contact PILLANI for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to send a photo of the product and will be provided with disposal instructions, and should then dispose of the recalled product. Consumers can contact PILLANI by email at [email protected], or through the PILLANI official recall page.

The full recall notice (Recall No. 27-047) is posted on the CPSC official recall page. Consumers can report a dangerous product or a product-related injury through CPSC's SaferProducts.gov reporting platform or by calling CPSC's Hotline at 800-638-2772.
