Dudamel and Buchbinder Perform All Five Beethoven Piano Concertos at Walt Disney Concert Hall Starting December 4
Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, will host a complete Beethoven piano concerto cycle this December: conductor Gustavo Dudamel leads the Los Angeles Philharmonic with Austrian pianist Rudolf Buchbinder, performing all five Beethoven piano concertos across two programs running December 4 to 13.
The first program, on December 4, 5 and 6, pairs Piano Concertos Nos. 1, 2 and 3 with the "Eroica" Symphony. The second program, performed four times from December 10 to 13, features the Piano Concerto No. 4 alongside the Symphony No. 5. Buchbinder is widely regarded as a leading Beethoven interpreter, and the cycle forms part of the LA Phil's 2026/27 season thread celebrating Beethoven's genius.
Walt Disney Concert Hall is located at 111 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Tickets are sold through the LA Phil's official website, with prices varying by performance and seating section; early booking is recommended for popular dates.
