The Who's Tommy Runs November 24 to 29 at McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert
McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, Riverside County, California, stages the rock musical The Who's Tommy for six days, November 24 to 29.
Tommy grew out of The Who's 1969 concept album, the story of a pinball prodigy written for the stage by the band's Pete Townshend with director Des McAnuff. The 1993 Broadway premiere won Tony Awards, and the current touring production brings its acclaimed revival staging to the desert as part of McCallum's Broadway series. This engagement is a separate run from the production's earlier Los Angeles engagement at the Pantages.
McCallum Theatre is located at 73000 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92260. Tickets are sold through the theatre's official website, priced by seating section.
