Music: MAN WITH A MISSION Release New Single Firestarter: Eighth Album The Circus Arrives December 23

Japanese rock band MAN WITH A MISSION released their new single Firestarter on October 28, alongside its official music video. The band also announced their eighth studio album, The Circus, which will be released on December 23 via Sony Music and Century Media.
Firestarter is an explosive rock song and serves as the opening theme for the TV anime The Vermillion Mask, with mixing by Chris Lord-Alge. Its official video uses spice as a metaphor for exciting, stimulating music. It follows a day in the life of a man after he takes the spice into his body, with the five members of the band becoming the spice themselves and causing chaos from within. In Japan, the single is available in three CD editions: a limited edition with DVD, a regular CD edition, and a limited-period edition with CD, DVD and a three-sided sleeve.
The Circus is the band's first original full-length album in about four and a half years, following Break and Cross the Walls II in May 2022. The album also gathers earlier tie-in songs, including Kizuna no Kiseki, the collaboration with milet that served as the opening theme for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc anime, The Animals, the theme for a feature film, and ONE, created for Japanese football club Cerezo Osaka.
The band's five members, Tokyo Tanaka, Jean-Ken Johnny, Kamikaze Boy, DJ Santa Monica and Spear Rib, perform in wolf masks in concerts and music videos alike.
