TD Charitable Foundation's Housing for Everyone Program to Award $10 Million in 2027: Twenty Grants of $500,000, Applications Close November 24

The TD Charitable Foundation announced in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, on October 29 that its Housing for Everyone grant program, now in its 21st year, will award $10 million in 2027: twenty grants of $500,000 each to nonprofit organizations strengthening housing stability with a focus on renters' economic mobility.
This year's funding will support programs that help renters advance economically, including career advancement, credentialing, financial coaching and wraparound services. Applications close at 4 p.m. ET on November 24, 2026, through the program's page on TD's website.
Since 2005, Housing for Everyone has awarded more than $73 million supporting more than 675 initiatives from Maine to Florida. The TD Charitable Foundation has distributed more than $397 million since its founding in 2002.
Citing data from Harvard's Joint Center for Housing Studies, the foundation noted that renters earning less than $30,000 a year have about $210 a month left after paying for housing, a figure down 60 percent since 2001. Foundation leaders Paige Carlson-Heim and Shelley Sylva said this year's grants aim to help renters not only stay housed but also move up and build financial security.
