Arizona Veterans Deceived by VetLink Solutions Begin Receiving $1.2 Million in Restitution Checks

Friday, October 30, 2026 · Society · GSM News

The Arizona Attorney General's office said on October 28 that veterans deceived by VetLink Solutions will begin receiving restitution checks this week, as a $1.2 million restitution fund moves into distribution.

The attorney general had sued VetLink Solutions, alleging that from January 2019 through March 13, 2024, the company charged veterans consulting fees to help them file U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) disability claims, in violation of the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act. The case was resolved earlier in 2026 by a consent judgment requiring the company to fund $1.2 million in restitution.

The payments are going to veterans who filed claims by the September 10, 2026 deadline. The attorney general's office advised claimants who do not receive a check within 14 days to call the settlement administrator at 866-880-0070.

Officials reminded veterans that filing for VA disability benefits is free and that accredited veterans service organizations help with claims at no charge; any offer to prepare VA claims for an upfront fee should be checked carefully. Consumers who suspect fraud can file a complaint with the attorney general's office.
