The Innovation Task Force of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) hosted its inaugural Frontier Forum on Super Intelligence on October 28 in Washington, D.C. The CFTC's official channel has released video of the forum.
According to the agenda released by the CFTC, attendees discussed how super intelligence (SI) is being implemented on the frontier, the impact that SI and its proliferation will have on U.S. markets, and the Commission's role in fostering responsible SI adoption and innovation while protecting market participants from novel and emergent risks. The forum brought together leaders at the intersection of technology and finance.
"Super intelligence is poised to transform our financial markets," said CFTC Chairman Michael S. Selig. "Through this inaugural Frontier Forum, we are bringing together leaders at the intersection of technology and finance to explore the opportunities and risks of super intelligence and help shape the next frontier of American financial innovation."
The forum was the first in the Innovation Task Force's Frontier Forum series and was streamed live on CFTC.gov.
