Residential-hotel operator Central announced on October 30 that it has added two properties, entering the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, market and expanding its footprint in San Diego, California. The San Diego property, the Diega community at 702 Broadway in downtown San Diego, has 617 residences and is the company's largest single addition this year.

Diega, developed by Bosa Development, occupies a full block at the junction of downtown's core, East Village and the Gaslamp Quarter; its two colorful glass towers won an interior-design award in the San Diego Architectural Foundation's 2025 Orchids & Onions program. Central said the additions bring it to 22 markets nationwide. Leasing information for Diega is posted on its website; the community is positioned as serviced residential-hotel apartments for longer downtown stays.
