The University of Georgia men's basketball team has entered the national rankings for the first time since the end of the 2020-21 season, as the Athens program opens a new season in Clarke County. Georgia pairs returning starters with transfers and freshmen, plays at Stegeman Coliseum, and will host a November 3 event tied to the university's annual fund.
Analysts and fans expect a disciplined defense and faster pace to translate into more wins, with the fan base hoping for a deeper SEC tournament run.
