New England Honda Team Raises $122,440 for the Jimmy Fund Through the Boston Marathon, Toward a $500,000 Five-Year Goal

The New England Honda Group announced on October 30 that a 15-runner team it sponsored during the 130th running of the Boston Marathon, presented by Bank of America, raised $122,440 for the Jimmy Fund, with the donation presented to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute on September 24, 2026. The Jimmy Fund is the charitable arm of Dana-Farber, raising funds for cancer research and patient care.
The contribution brings New England Honda closer to its five-year fundraising goal of $500,000 in support of the Jimmy Fund. The group has sponsored a team of runners and supported the Jimmy Fund for the past four years, and also serves as the official vehicle sponsor of the Boston Marathon.
Jason LaCroix, president of the New England Honda Dealers Association, serves as both captain and a member of Team Honda. "I am proud of the dedication our runners brought to both their training and fundraising, and grateful to everyone who supported us," he said. "Sharing the Boston Marathon experience with this team is special, but knowing our efforts help Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund bring hope to patients and families makes it even more meaningful."
With the 2027 Boston Marathon on the horizon, the group said Team Honda looks forward to building on this year's $122,440 contribution and continuing its support for cancer research and treatment.
