FedEx Raises Its Full-Year Earnings Outlook After Completing $2 Billion in Share Repurchases from June to September

FedEx Corp., headquartered in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, reported results on October 28 for the quarter ended September 30: adjusted consolidated operating results improved year over year, and the company raised its full-year calendar 2026 earnings outlook.
The company said the improvement was driven by increased package base yields, higher package volumes and continued structural cost reductions from business optimization initiatives, partly offset by increased purchased transportation rates, higher wage rates and variable compensation expenses, and the financial impact of global trade policy changes. During the June-to-September period, FedEx completed $2 billion of share repurchases.
"As our strong operating results and adjusted free cash flow demonstrate, FedEx is winning across high-value market segments while we optimize our network, driving an increase to our full-year outlook," said Raj Subramaniam, FedEx Corp. president and chief executive officer. He said the company remains committed to disciplined operational execution to reduce its cost-to-serve while focusing on profitable growth, and to its strategy of remaining the world's premier B2B parcel and air freight provider, leveraging digital insights to unlock new markets and using disciplined capital allocation to create additional stockholder value.
