Anime Pasadena Opens Nov. 6: One Piece Live-Action Stars Mackenyu and Taz Skylar Appear on the Weekend
Anime Pasadena 2026 will take place November 6-8 at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, in California's Los Angeles County. The organizer's official site has posted this year's dates; according to anime news outlet AnimeFire, the show is the second-largest anime convention in Southern California, behind only Anime Expo, held each summer in Los Angeles.
On the guest list, AnimeFire reports that Mackenyu, who plays Zoro in Netflix's live-action One Piece, and Taz Skylar, who plays Sanji, will both attend, appearing on Saturday and Sunday only (November 7-8) for autographs and photo opportunities.
The organizer's VIP details show that on Saturday and Sunday, VIP pass holders can register from 8 a.m., enter the celebrity signing area at 9 a.m. and get early access to the vendor hall at 9:30 a.m., while general admission opens at 10 a.m.; select cast panels are held in the center's Civic Auditorium. Separately, according to Capcom's Eventbrite event page, the Street Fighter League Americas Finals will be held at the Civic Auditorium on Sunday, November 8, at 4 p.m. PT, with six teams competing for the Americas title; Anime Pasadena badge holders can watch free of charge.
