Election Results Page Gets a New Look: Filters, an Interactive Map and Update Schedules

The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters, in California, announced on October 29 that its redesigned Election Results page for the November 3 General Election is live, giving voters a clearer way to follow every race and measure on election night and in the days that follow, at Elections.SBCounty.gov/newlook.
The new page adds several features: a Filter Races tool to locate a specific contest, results shown as vote totals and percentages with list or slideshow views, and a layout that adjusts automatically to phones, tablets and computers with no app required. Accessibility features include screen-reader compatibility, readable fonts, high-contrast colors and considerations for users with color-vision differences.
An interactive map lets users explore election activity geographically, including voter turnout by precinct. The Registrar reminds voters that election night results are only the beginning of the reporting process: counting continues for days, and the page shows "Next Update" information so voters know when additional results are expected.
