World-Premiere Musical 'GRIM' Runs at La Jolla Playhouse Through December 6
La Jolla Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre (2910 La Jolla Village Drive, La Jolla) in San Diego County, California, is staging the world-premiere musical GRIM, running through December 6.
The show follows Diana, the Grim Reaper's daughter, who questions the family business of harvesting souls. It is directed by Sammi Cannold with choreography by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton); songs are by Petro AP and Scott Hoying of Pentatonix, with a book by Joey Orton and Brad Silnutzer.
La Jolla Playhouse has premiered numerous Broadway-bound hits, and GRIM is among Southern California's most watched new musicals of the season. Availability is currently best from November 24 onward.
Tickets are on sale through the La Jolla Playhouse website, with lower prices for early preview performances.
