Olvera Street Día de los Muertos Festival Runs Through November 2 with Nightly Novenario Processions

Olvera Street (125 Paseo de la Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012) in El Pueblo de Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, continues its Día de los Muertos festival through November 2, daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., free to attend. The tradition on this street is nearly 40 years old.
Each night the Novenario procession winds past the community altars with Aztec dancers, "Living Muertos" performers and a Mayan blessing, with free sweet bread and beverages shared along the route. Teatro del Barrio performs La Danza de la Muerte nightly, and residents' ofrendas fill the plaza throughout the festival.
Daytime stage entertainment is scheduled on October 31, November 1 and November 2. Union Station sits directly across the street, making Metro and rail the easiest way in; paid lots surround the area.
All events are free; the full schedule is on the Olvera Street events website.
