San Francisco Symphony Performs Handel's Messiah December 4–5 with Chorus and Soloists

Davies Symphony Hall (201 Van Ness Ave) in San Francisco, California, hosts Handel's Messiah on December 4–5, performed by the San Francisco Symphony and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus under Baroque specialist Ruben Valenzuela.
The soloists are soprano Lauren Snouffer, countertenor Reginald Mobley, tenor Zachary Wilder and bass-baritone Enrico Lagasca. First performed in Dublin in 1742, Messiah and its "Hallelujah" chorus remain the signature sound of the holiday season in the English-speaking world.
The two performances are a centerpiece of the orchestra's holiday season at Davies Hall, which runs December 2–23.
Tickets are available through the San Francisco Symphony website and the box office at (415) 864-6000.
