Cary Elwes Brings a 'Princess Bride' Screening and Behind-the-Scenes Stories to Cerritos December 12
The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (18000 Park Plaza Drive, Cerritos, CA 90703) in Cerritos, Los Angeles County, California, presents "The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening with Cary Elwes" on December 12 at 3:00 p.m. — a screening of the 1987 fantasy classic followed by a behind-the-scenes conversation with its star.
Elwes played the farmhand-turned-swordsman Westley, whose "As you wish" became one of cinema's most quoted lines. Drawing on his memoir As You Wish, he recounts filming with Robin Wright, André the Giant and the rest of the ensemble, with audience interaction included.
The event runs about two hours and plays in English; it is an ideal outing for anyone who grew up with the film on videotape.
Tickets are available through the Cerritos Center box office and Ticketmaster, listed from $48 on ticketing platforms.
