Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts: The Boston Bruins rallied late in the third period and beat the visiting Chicago Blackhawks 5-4 in overtime at TD Garden on October 31.

Trailing 4-2 late in the third, Boston pulled within one on Mason Lohrei's goal at 13:06, then tied the game on Morgan Geekie's one-timer with 12 seconds left and the goaltender pulled. Elias Lindholm scored the winner at 2:32 of overtime off an assist sequence led by Charlie McAvoy, who finished with two assists.

Captain David Pastrnak scored in the first period for his 428th career regular-season goal, moving into sole possession of third place on the Bruins' all-time list, ahead of former captain Patrice Bergeron's 427. Only Johnny Bucyk (545) and Phil Esposito (459) remain ahead of him. 'He's the reason I've passed him because he was a big part of it,' Pastrnak said of Bergeron.

The win moved Boston to 10-4-1 and snapped a two-game skid. Chicago has lost five of its past six games and is 0-5-1 on the road.
