Honolulu Holds Safe Trick-or-Treating on the Skyline: Stamps at Five Stations Trade for Prizes, With an Online Costume Contest

Honolulu, City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii: The City and County of Honolulu's Department of Transportation Services invited families to ride the Skyline rail on Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to noon for a 'Safe Trick-or-Treating' Halloween event, with treats and family activities at five stations.
Families could pick up a stamp card, collect a unique stamp at each of the five participating stations, and bring the completed card to Halawa-Aloha Stadium Station to redeem a prize and enter a grand prize drawing. Stamp cards could be downloaded and printed in advance from the city's Skyline website or picked up at any participating station during the event.
The event also included an online costume contest for all ages: participants post an Instagram photo of their costume on Skyline during the event, tagging @hnl.transit with the hashtag #SkylineCostume2026.
The city noted that regular Skyline fares apply, children 5 and under ride free with a paying adult or guardian, and riders can use the Transit app for bus and Skyline schedules and real-time arrivals.
