Needham's Mandarin Cuisine Says Goodbye After 37 Years: Keys to Go to New Owners
Needham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts: Mandarin Cuisine, a longtime Chinese restaurant in Needham, served its final customers on October 31 after 37 years in business.
The restaurant, at 238 Highland Avenue, wrote in its Facebook announcement that it had loved every moment of serving its customers over the past 37 years and thanked them for making it a true community staple.
The announcement also said the owners will hand the keys over to new ownership, but no details have been released about who will take over or what will replace the restaurant.
Mandarin Cuisine was one of seven eastern Massachusetts restaurants that closed during October, and one of the longest-running among them: 37 years spans a generation of family dinners, holiday gatherings and everyday takeout for Needham's Chinese families and local diners alike.
