UFC Vegas 123: Lebosnoyani Beats Hasanov by Third-Round Doctor Stoppage for First UFC Finish
Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada — At UFC Fight Night 123, the Halloween card held on October 31 at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, welterweight Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani defeated Farman Hasanov by technical knockout via doctor's stoppage in the third round, earning the first finish of his UFC career.
The first two rounds were a hard-fought striking battle, with Hasanov enjoying stretches of success, but Lebosnoyani kept pressing in the third round as a cut above Hasanov's eye bled heavily. The referee paused the bout for the ringside doctor, who ruled at once that Hasanov could not continue; the fight ended at 3:11 of the third round.
Lebosnoyani said after the fight that the victory meant a great deal to him.
