Coronado Holiday Parade Returns to Orange Avenue December 4, Free to Watch

The Coronado Holiday Parade returns to the city of Coronado in San Diego County, California, on December 4, rolling along Orange Avenue downtown. Watching from the curb is free.
Coronado, the island city across San Diego Bay, is known countywide for the historic buildings along Orange Avenue and the Hotel del Coronado's holiday finery; the Christmas parade is a small-city winter tradition, with community groups, school bands and floats passing storefronts dressed for the season.
Curbside viewing is free with no reservation; surrounding streets close temporarily that day, so plan to walk or cycle in, or park on the outskirts and walk.
See the City of Coronado and San Diego Tourism Authority listings for the route and start time before you go.
