Paxton Rallies in El Paso in Final Push of Texas Senate Race

On November 1, El Paso, El Paso County, Texas, saw a final-push event in the U.S. Senate race: Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton returned to El Paso that day and held a rally at the Orca Event Venue at 11323 Rojas Drive, as part of his "Come and Take It" tour, with doors opening at 3:30 p.m. Paxton is locked in a tight race with Democratic candidate James Talarico, a state representative, for the seat of retiring U.S. Sen. John Cornyn.
It was Paxton's second visit to El Paso in just over a month: on September 30 he held a rally there alongside Texas Republican congressional candidate Brandon Herrera. Talarico's last appearance in El Paso was on October 26. Paxton's tour runs to 30 stops in total, having started on October 17 in Rockwall and wrapping up on November 2.
On Election Day, November 3, Texas voters will decide who takes the Senate seat.
