BTS Sell Out All 14 South American Shows: 853,000 Fans Across Five Cities
BTS have wrapped up the South American leg of their world tour with every show sold out. According to South Korea's StarNews on November 2, the group played 14 shows across five cities in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, drawing a combined audience of 853,000.
The run marked the full group's first concerts in Colombia and Argentina, their first visit to Peru since debut, and returns to Chile after nine years and Brazil after seven. The setlist centered on their fifth album ARIRANG and included 'FAKE LOVE,' 'Not Today,' 'MIC Drop,' 'FIRE,' 'IDOL,' 'Butter' and 'Dynamite.'
In La Plata, Argentina, 96 percent of the audience came from outside the city, and more than 130,000 first-time visitors generated an estimated 53 billion Argentine pesos in spending. The leg closed at Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo; the Asian leg opens November 19 in Kaohsiung, followed by Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Melbourne and Sydney.
