Keke Palmer and Son Recreate the Jacksons' 'Scream' for Halloween: Janet Responds
Keke Palmer unveiled her Halloween costume with her three-year-old son Leodis, known as Leo, on Instagram on October 29: the pair recreated the looks from Michael and Janet Jackson's 1995 music video 'Scream.' Palmer dressed as Janet, with a short spiky hairstyle and a black futuristic outfit, while Leo played Michael in a textured black top and leather trousers. The mother and son also recreated the video's choreography in black and white.
In her caption, Palmer joked that her son watched his iPad throughout the shoot, calling it 'a life saver.' The tribute caught the attention of Janet Jackson herself, who reshared the clips to her Instagram Stories, writing: 'I LOVE THIS !!! HOW CUTE !'
'Scream' remains the Jackson siblings' only official duet; on its release in 1995 it became the first song in the Billboard Hot 100's 37-year history to debut inside the top five, entering at No. 5.
