U-Haul Offers 30 Days of Free Storage to Arizona Flood Victims at 94 Stores Statewide

In Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, U-Haul announced on November 2 that nine U-Haul companies in Arizona are offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container use at 94 stores to residents affected by the weekend's severe flooding. The offer applies to new self-storage and U-Box rentals, subject to availability.
Heavy rain from Friday through Sunday caused flash flooding and sent rivers and creeks over their banks across much of the state, from the Phoenix and Tucson metros to Flagstaff, Prescott, Sedona and the White Mountains, prompting evacuations and water rescues; Prescott declared a state of emergency, and many homes and businesses sustained water damage. U-Haul noted that it serves as an official American Red Cross Disaster Responder.
Participating locations include 12 stores in the Metro Phoenix area covering Fountain Hills, Phoenix and Scottsdale, and 10 in Northwest Phoenix covering Anthem, Glendale, Peoria, Phoenix, Surprise and Wickenburg, with additional stores reaching Goodyear, Litchfield Park and Yuma. Affected residents can contact a nearby store or regional office to arrange the free storage.
