Second Round of New Orleans French Quarter Business Stabilization Fund Announced: Grants Up to $2,500, Applications Due November 11

In New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, Mayor Helena Moreno and the City of New Orleans announced on November 2 a second round of Business Stabilization Fund grants for French Quarter businesses along two economically vibrant corridors, Lower Decatur Street and St. Peter Street, that have faced prolonged disruption from construction projects. Eligible recipients can receive awards of up to $2,500, with amounts possibly lower depending on the number of eligible applicants and funding availability. The Greater New Orleans Foundation will administer the program through the New Orleans Community Support Foundation, and the application deadline is November 11, 2026.
Eligibility is defined by geographic boundaries covering, among other segments, the 700-1300 blocks of Decatur Street and the 500-600 blocks of St. Peter Street, plus surrounding blocks of Chartres, Royal and Dumaine streets. Applicants must not have received a first-round award, must have continuously operated within the project boundaries since January 1, 2025, must show a revenue decrease reasonably attributed to the construction project, and must be registered with the Louisiana Secretary of State with an active 2026 city occupational license.
