Reimagined 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' Released: Every Stream Donates to a Las Vegas Children's Cancer Foundation

A reimagined version of the holiday anthem "Do They Know It's Christmas?" was released on all major music platforms on November 2, according to an announcement distributed by GlobeNewswire. The recording features finalists from American Idol and The Voice alongside Las Vegas voice impressionist Terry Fator, and every stream generates a small donation to the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, Nevada's only dedicated pediatric cancer and rare disease treatment center, in support of its Patient Assistance Fund for children battling cancer and rare diseases.

Created under the creative direction of Mitchell Koulouris, the foundation's digital marketing and social media director, the classic song carries new lyrics reflecting hope for children in the toughest battles of their young lives. "This has been a labor of love from the very first note," Koulouris said. "Our kids face battles most adults couldn't imagine, and they still find joy in the middle of it. Every stream of this song is one more way we can show up for them."

The vocalists include American Idol finalists Mackenzie Sol, Drew Ryn, Maryjo Young, Amanda Barise and Samoan Silkk, The Voice finalist Sadie Dahl, former Why Don't We member Jonah Marais and TikTok creator PENG PENG. A second version features Terry Fator performing with his puppets and voices for Freddie Mercury, Stevie Wonder, Justin Bieber, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Sammy Davis Jr. and others. A music video accompanies each version on YouTube and social media.

Founded in Las Vegas in 2007, the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is a tax-exempt nonprofit accredited by The Joint Commission and a member of the Children's Oncology Group; it says an average of 95 cents of every dollar goes directly to patient care and that no child is turned away because of a family's inability to pay.
