Monday, November 2, 2026 · Justice · GSM News

Taylor Ryan Prigmore, 31, of McLoud, a city in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, pleaded guilty on November 2 to four counts including threatening to murder federal law enforcement officers and firing at FBI agents, U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester announced. At sentencing he faces up to life in federal prison and fines of up to $1,000,000.

According to court records, between May 9, 2025, and January 17, 2026, a YouTube account belonging to Prigmore posted multiple comments on various videos threatening to kill Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and others. He also threatened to kill law enforcement officers who came to his residence, stating that he wanted to kill "as many as possible."

On January 19, 2026, FBI agents arrested Prigmore following a brief standoff at his residence. During the standoff, Prigmore fired multiple rounds at federal agents. No one was injured.

On November 2, 2026, Prigmore was charged with, and pleaded guilty to, a four-count Superseding Information charging him with threatening to murder federal law enforcement officers, communicating a threat, assaulting federal officers, and brandishing a firearm in the furtherance of a crime of violence. As part of his plea, he admitted he willfully threatened to murder federal law enforcement officers, sent another threat to injure others, and intentionally assaulted and interfered with federal officers with a firearm which he brandished.

"Threats and attempts to harm federal agents are serious crimes that result in severe consequences," said U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester. FBI Oklahoma City Acting Special Agent in Charge Joe Skarda said the guilty plea is an important step toward accountability for actions that endangered the lives of FBI agents carrying out their sworn duties.

The FBI Oklahoma City Field Office's Joint Terrorism Task Force investigated the case, with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Arvo Mikkanen and Matt Dillon are prosecuting the case. The Justice Department said the case is part of the nationwide National Security Presidential Memorandum 7 initiative.
