Fox Corp Posts Record First-Quarter Revenue of $4.57 Billion as World Cup and Midterm Advertising Power 22% Growth

Monday, November 2, 2026 · Finance · GSM News

Fox Corporation reported results for its fiscal 2027 first quarter (ended September 30, 2026) before the market opened on November 2: quarterly revenue rose 22 percent year over year to a record $4.57 billion, beating analyst estimates. Net income was $957 million, or $2.20 per share, up from $609 million, or $1.32 per share, a year earlier; adjusted earnings per share were $2.54 and adjusted EBITDA was a record $1.641 billion.

Advertising led the growth: advertising revenue jumped 47 percent, driven by the FIFA World Cup, political advertising in a midterm election year, and the performance of streaming platform Tubi. Distribution revenue rose 9 percent, with growth in both the cable network and television segments.

Fox was the U.S. English-language broadcaster of the 2026 FIFA World Cup; the July 19 final averaged 38.9 million viewers, the most-watched soccer telecast in U.S. history. The quarter also captured rising midterm political advertising and the start of the NFL season.

Fox Corporation, headquartered in New York, operates Fox News Media, Fox Sports, Fox Entertainment and Tubi, and trades on Nasdaq under the tickers FOXA and FOX.
