Two New Exhibitions Open November 14 at the Irvine Fine Arts Center: On View Through January 23, 2027, With a Free Opening Reception

The City of Irvine, in Orange County, California, announced on November 2 that the Irvine Fine Arts Center will open two new exhibitions on Saturday, November 14, with a free opening reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Both exhibitions will remain on view through January 23, 2027.
The solo exhibition Juan Manuel Gomez: En Lo Profundo / In the Deep presents new and reworked mixed-media sculptures by artist Juan Manuel Gomez. Built from materials such as industrially processed metals and heavy-duty plastics, the works explore how deconstruction can help navigate uncertainty and challenging moments, evoking structures of protection and refuge while considering creative expression as a means of finding shelter, adapting, and enduring.
The group exhibition All Together!, co-organized with public historian Cynthia Castañeda and artist and independent curator Melanie Walden, brings together artists working in animation, design, fine art, illustration, and textiles to examine the relationship between celebration and resilience within Southern California's diverse cultural and artistic communities. Exhibiting artists include Rockee Armendariz, Patrick Ballesteros, Rosy Cortez, Jonah Elijah, Jeanette Floyd, Eva Grello, Justin Paszul, Crystal Rodriguez-Leal, Briar Rosa, Willis Salomon, Edwin Ushiro, kalynn vidaure, and Xiaoxiao Wu.
According to the city, the exhibitions, the opening reception, and parking are free. The Irvine Fine Arts Center is located in Heritage Community Park at 14321 Yale Ave. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
