Nebraska Ranks Among Top 10 States for Private Sector Business Survival Rates, BLS Report Shows
The Office of Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen said in Lincoln on November 2 that a recent report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics highlights the resilience of Nebraska businesses: the state ranks among the top 10 states for private sector business survival rates over the period from 2000 to 2026.
The governor's office issued the release, titled "Recent Report Points to Resilience of Nebraska Businesses," on Monday. Business survival rates measure the share of private sector establishments that remain in operation over time and are commonly used as an indicator of the stability of a state's business climate.
