Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Marks Its 100th March on November 26, Free Along the Route
The 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade marches through Manhattan, New York City, New York, on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, stepping off at 8:30 a.m. from West 77th Street and Central Park West and reaching Macy's Herald Square flagship around noon — about 2.5 miles, free to watch from public sidewalks with no tickets (cost: free).
The route runs south on Central Park West to Columbus Circle, east on Central Park South, then south down Sixth Avenue to 34th Street, with giant balloons, floats and marching bands. NBC, Telemundo and Peacock broadcast the parade live from 8:30 a.m.
The widest sidewalks and best balloon views are near the start of the route; arrive early for popular stretches, and check the Macy's parade site for the final lineup and route map.
