Penguins Forward Justin Brazeau Returns From Injury, Poised for Season Debut Against Vegas

Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania — The Pittsburgh Penguins welcomed back big forward Justin Brazeau on November 3 after a two-game conditioning stint in the minors; he practiced with the team and was poised to make his season debut that night at home against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The team's November 3 game preview noted that the 6-foot-7 Brazeau scored 17 goals and 34 points in 64 games last season but had been out since a lower-body injury in the preseason. Head coach Dan Muse said Brazeau is fully cleared and available.
In other injury news, Evgeni Malkin and Kaedan Korczak were day-to-day with lower-body injuries, with Malkin ruled out for the night, while Elmer Soderblom was moved to week-to-week. Pittsburgh has won seven of its last 12 meetings with Vegas and has never lost a season series to the Golden Knights since they entered the league in 2017-18; the Penguins were also set to wear their Hometown Remix jerseys for the first time.
