Taste of China Food and Culture Festival Set for November 7 in Cary
The Town of Cary in Wake County, North Carolina, will host the Taste of China food and culture festival on Saturday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Downtown Cary Park, 321 S. Academy Street. The event, co-hosted by the Town of Cary and the North Carolina Chinese-American Friendship Association, will feature Chinese food, traditional performances and cultural exhibits for the whole family.
Organizers say the festival will include food stalls, stage performances and cultural displays. The Raleigh-Durham area is home to one of North Carolina's larger Chinese communities, and festivals co-hosted by a local government and a Chinese community association give Chinese families a platform to share the food and arts of their hometowns while inviting neighbors of all backgrounds to experience Chinese culture up close.
Event information was updated on November 3, and organizers advise residents planning to attend to arrange their trip in advance.
